Open Road Pictures has released the first video clip from their film jOBS, featuring Ashton Kutcher’s first appearance as the technological powerhouse, the late Steve Jobs.
The film stars Kutcher, Dermot Mulroney, Josh Gad, Lukas Haas, J.K. Simmons, and Matthew Modine and directed by Joshua Michael Stern (Swing Vote). The story follows Jobs and many of the people who influenced him throughout his time developing and creating Apple from 1971 to 2001. In the clip, Jobs is discussing the potential of an operating system developed by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak’s (Josh Gad).
jOBS is making its debut as the closing film of the Sundance Film Festival this weekend and will be released in the USA on April 19.
